High voltage resistor 50kV 1 GigaOhm Measuring resistor, capacitor discharge resistor 

Resistor for high voltage applications. Well suited for discharging high-voltage capacitors after switching off the supply voltage in Tesla coils or high-voltage power supplies or as an extremely inexpensive measuring range extension of the oscilloscope or multimeter (1000: 1 or 10000: 1 probe) in order to be able to measure voltages in the kV range.
