For use in high-voltage cascades, MMC capacitors, ozone generators, lasers, negative ion generators, air cleaners, radio interference suppression and for smoothing in high-voltage power supplies. Conditionally suitable for oscillating circuits (HF oscillators, Tesla generators, etc...).

Can be operated up to approx. 7 kV in air. Higher operating voltage only possible with potting or in an oil bath.
